Loch Ness from Dores Inn

I’ve been away visiting my family in Inverness, and it’s truly done me the power of good 🙂

Here’s a snapshot view of Loch Ness from the shoreline at the Dores Inn, taken with my camera phone. Looking straight down the loch towards Fort Augustus (about 23 miles away as the crow flies) the sky was ominously grey and rainy, but looking sideways across the waves lapping onto the shore the sky was much more blue. And OMG it was really cold and windy standing there, even if technically it is still summer…
