Red sky at night, shepherds’ delight – Red sky in the morning, shepherds’ warning…

I grew up hearing this old rhyme for forecasting the weather in the Scottish countryside where I was brought up. So let’s see if it works for London, too! 🙂

    1. City sunsets are always weird, because the horizon is always made up of tall buildings relatively close by rather than having natural shapes visible in the far distance, and clear lines of sight are so often obscured – but every now again it all comes together, and it’s just lovely to capture 🙂

  1. The darker days also close in on you quicker in the cities and towns. Leave the city and there are still fading remains of the daylight.
I’m definitely a red sky in the morning shepherd’s warning gal! x
