Thursday Doors – St John’s Church

The lovely old iron-studded wooden door of St John’s Church, Leytonstone, East London, where I live. (I mean I live in Leytonstone, not the church!) The cold bright winter sun really brought out the detail this morning as I walked past, so I thought I’d share it with you for this week’s Thursday Doors πŸ™‚

The first stone of the building was laid in July 1832, and the church was consecrated in October 1833.
