Say Hello to Inverness

Here I am on Friars Bridge in Inverness with the city behind me – there’s a pic without me in the way, too. And the small grey bridge is an old Victorian pedestrian bridge across the River Ness, which runs through the centre of the city – I think the seagull was just being nosey πŸ™‚

  1. I only know of Inverness from the show Outlander, and I am not sure how much of it was actually shot in Inverness.
But your pictures paint such a different picture of the city, different and beautiful! Looks like a very peaceful place and a gorgeous day to be out. If I lived in a place like this, I would probably never have to drive too far for a vacation. πŸ™‚
    Thanks for sharing.

      1. This is information from an Outlander touring website, and their stops include Doune Castle, Culross, Lomond Hills and Midhope castle (none of which seem to be close to Inverness) πŸ™‚
