I have no idea what this building is/ was used for, but it has a lovely large door and a pretty window grille. The building itself is located on King St, Inverness and is clearly in need of some tlc but I just liked the look of it 🙂

Or not, depending on my mood

A little work is in order, but I like these doors, Ruth. I always like seeing a sliding “barn”‘door. Thanks for sharing these with Thursday Doors.

This red, HUGE door is spectacular! While studying it, I noticed only one small hinge in lower left. How on earth does this big door open? Is there perhaps a smaller door within this and the only part that opens? Very intriguing…

The big door slides open sideways along the track – so once fully open it would cover the window with the grille to the left of the door 🙂

I thought about that but did not see a track. Must go back and look for it. Thank you for the heads up.
