Stuck on furlough at eighty percent
Helping cover the food and the rent
Keeping millions of folk
Neither working nor broke
But the Government’s coffers are spent
For this year’s April Blogging from A-Z Challenge I’m aiming for an alphabetical exploration of my personal thoughts and feelings on the continuing Covid 19 pandemic one year on, using a mix of poetry, pics and ponderings…
Very clever, Ruth. I like it, but not so much how true it is.

Well said, but sad that it needs to be said.

Hi, Ruth, I was delighted to find your blog in the Master list of the A-Z Challenge. I too am in Scotland in the Scottish Borders. My prime blogging interest is in family history. But for this challenge, I al recording my current life in Lockdown , hopefully to. give a picture for future generations. Our experiences and writings are very different as I have not suffered directly the way you have. I too write a journal, but offline, called Random Ramblings. I did start an online version – Journal Jottings (like you I enjoy alliteration), but abandoned it after a year as I found getting page views so difficult and the content was getting repetitive. I am enjoying your posts and look forward to reading morea Do take a look at my blog: https://scotsue-familyhistoryfun.nlogspot.co.uk
