Not the easiest of doors to capture in context with just my mobile phone! These two standard (almost invisible) doors are painted to be an integral part of the mural, and certainly blend in really well (one at each end).
It was so difficult to get both in shot at the same time as the mural lines one side of an indoor corridor space so there’s nowhere to go to be able to stand far enough back to get it all in straight on, and at this time of year (full tourist season) people are constantly passing, but I did my best with the few limited chances that became available!
The old indoor Victorian Market in Inverness (a cruciform design with entrances from Queensgate, Academy Street, Union Street and Church Street) has recently had a bit of a serious makeover, and this vibrant mural leads the way in from Church Street to the new bustling food court area 🙂
This is so cool!
