A lovely red rose for today’s Flower of the Day ❤
A pretty little anemone for today’s Flower of the Day 🙂
Another day, another rose in my garden for today’s Flower of the Day 🙂
Even after the foxgloves have finished flowering for the year, I love the way the remaining tall spikes create such striking columns of greenery waving about in the garden 🙂
The first image was taken last week, and shows a blooming rose behind, with a small new rosebud in front.
The second image shows the same pairing as seen today, with the old rose petals now faded and falling, and the the new rose blooming in front.
Red climbing rose in the garden 🙂
My hostas have done well this year, flowering beautifully – they’re going over now, but have been lovely while they lasted 🙂
I really love the scent of lavender, and have several clumps planted across the garden, front and back. The bees really love it too, and the colour is striking, so it’s a win/win all round… 🙂
This orange lily is quite small, but such a beautifully vibrant colour! 🙂
